It doesn’t look like much but it seems as though Kobe‘s training in Jeet Kune Do has paid off.  It’s a one inch punch a la Bruce Lee.  Thing is, Kobe’s opponent was able to play a whole basketball game after this “punch.”  I doubt that any one punched by Bruce Lee in the gonads would be walking around, much less playing pro basketball for 3 to 4 quarters!

Kobe is here being interviewed about his martial arts training and his teacher is revealed.  His Jeet Kune Do teacher seems to have a pretty low key setup similar to Bruce.  All of Lee’s celebrity students trained one on one in his house at one time or another.

The real question is whether he could beat Kareem Abdul Jabaar in a tower fight after defeating 4 other martial arts wizards!

I’m a big BIG fan of the Amazing Race.   Even though Meghan and Cheyne were from my home town of San Diego, I sometimes could NOT stand them.  However, you have to respect their game.  They were UNSTOPPABLE.  They definitely deserved to win over the other two loser teams:  The Gay Bros(whatever… HAD to be fake) and the Miss America/Mr. White Dude married to Miss America(they were constantly arguing at first.  They kind of grew on me but I liked the Globetrotters and the Father/Son team better.)  Oh well, maybe next time, *I’ll* go on the show.  You want to be my team mate?  If we wind up in Amsterdam, I could show you the sites as it were…  Hmm, probably won’t win that way but we’ll be sure to have a goooood time!

President Reagan said it right.  It took some huge “balons” to say something like that to the USSR in the late 1980′s but who cared?  We all knew we were going to die in a big nuclear ball of flame so daring the Russians to make peace, or else, wasn’t such a big gamble.  I remember telling one of my German friends that we would see the Berlin Wall come down.

He looked at me as a man that had been through the worst of the Nazi era and the Soviet eras would: What did I know?  I was just a dumb MTV kid.  It was an arrogant thing on my part to say such a thing.  People had been dying trying to cross that thing for decades and there just wasn’t any way in hell that the Soviets would let go of such a prize as East Germany and Berlin.  Luckily for Germany, my stupid 20 year old ass was right.  Here’s how it went down at the first gate:

This video overlooks a large neighborhood next to an over-flooded river that was pretty much wiped out.  People are stranded on top of their shacks waiting for help that probably isn’t coming.  Remember that the Philippines is a poor country and niceties like emergency help are luxuries:

Here people are just doing their best to try to get through the day.  It’s amazing to think that they are just going to tough it out no matter what.  In the end, I guess that’s just what you have to do during a tragedy as there’s no time to bitch about anything.  Just go on with the business of trying to live on no matter what.

I’ve been away from this blog for a long long time.  In those five months that I’ve gone away, a number of realities have hit squarely home.  The number one being that I am a freaking LIAR.  The whole point of this blog was to somehow get it to earn me money and get me to the point where I could tell my boss to buzz off.  I had no idea how to do this and trusted the information I found on the Interwebs to do this.  Well, all that information was bogus.  At least, me explaining all this stuff to you as though it would work for you and for me was bogus.

I am going to re-tool and re-purpose this blog so that it at least reflects who I am.  I am NOT an Internet Affiliate Marketing Genius, that’s for sure.  I may not earn any cash this way but I didn’t earn any from this blog anyway!  So, out with all the crappy flashy links, lies and in with some, most probably, useless information and opinions on things that swim around my skull.

So, for the two people that read this blog looking for any scraps of “Make-Money-Online” advice, I will tell you this:  Fuggetabout it!  It’s over and done with and I’m done lying! My eyes are finally open and now I will focus on seeing things my way.  You can still gimmie-a-dollah if you like though…

Drive Hordes Of Targeted Traffic In Minutes!

I’ve got to say, my brief foray into Google Adwords has been a complete failure.  I don’t have the bankroll to compete with the big boys and I just don’t have the time to try and figure out the proper long tails I’m supposed to hit.  Maybe later when I don’t need the money??  WAH.  I think my new “guru” would list me under the “DUMBEff” catagory.  Blogger Unleashed has some serious tips that I’m just beginning to try.  The one thing I wasn’t doing was getting enough anchored links to whatever it was I was trying to schlep to the masses.

His Number One Tool for this purpose is BOOKMARKING DEMON. I highly suggest rubbing a few pennies and getting this thing.  It’s an eventuality that you will start to rank in the search engines.  The catch is, you don’t know when.  As Victor sometimes SCREAMS at us in his videos, “There is NO magic bullet.”  So, you’ll have to dedicate a Windows box to getting links day and night.  If you do this right, you will get a ton of links, PR0, PR4, do-follow, no-follow… whatever.

You just have to be careful and not overdo it, otherwise Google may get smart with you.  Then again, you never know and you can just chance it like you do on the freeway!  The site has more details.

So, buy BMD, and TAG TAG TAG the EFF out of your sites and posts.  Maybe we’ll see some sweet Google juice come our way!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been following the advice of every crackpot “Hey-I’m-Not-A-Guru” Guru in the Make Money Online Blogosphere for a while now. Most of them espouse the keeping track of your blog traffic through analyzing clicks and visits and what not. I have statistics from a FireStats plugin on most of my blogs. I also have built-in stats from my web host, LUNARPAGES.

The thing is: I can’t believe a single number from any of them because they are all telling me different things! MyBlogLog tells me I get 2 MyBlogLog users per day. FireStats says 20 per day. BlogRush says I have upwards of 3000 impressions. Ebay Partner Network says the same thing for the last 3 weeks 13 clicks for one of my campaigns, no sales while Google Adwords says I’m getting 2-5 clicks every day for that site. Adsense is telling me I’m getting 78 impressions today for all my “channels.”

It’s a damn shell game people! It all ads up to me not getting any cash in my pockets. I’m dipping my feet into the AdWords PPC game now and I just don’t understand how they can blatantly disregard my daily budget day after day! They have some kind of thing called “over-delivery” where they will exceed my budget by 20% as a favor to me to drive more traffic. Yeah right. Their 20% turned out to be about 2000% a few days ago.

I guess, like everything else on the Web, a basic truth still exists. It held true in 1994 when I started building websites with html and FrontPage and it holds true today: Don’t believe everything you read! Keep an eye on your stats but don’t be a slave to them like me. The only true stat that you can probably bet on is your bank account balance. Mine’s a bit sad now. Maybe it’ll make me happy in a few days when Pay day and Mista BOOSH’s rebates start flowing in.

So watch out, the numbers lie. This blog won’t. I wouldn’t steer you wrong. Now, your driveway looks a little worn out. You need me to resurface it? I can give you a fair price. How ’bout you just GIMMIEAQUARTAH!!!
